Movember Contest

Photos that you send to Gibson Sound & Vision by email will be uploaded into an album on the Facebook page dedicated to the contest. The deadline for submissions is November 30th at 11:59pm EST.  At the end of the Contest, a winner will be chosen by random draw at the Movember Gala held on December 1st 2011.

Rules & Regulations

By entering this Contest the entrants and participants automatically agree to accept and abide by these Rules. All decisions of the Contest Sponsors with respect to any aspect of this Contest, including without limitation the eligibility of entries, are final and binding on all entrants in all matters as they relate to this Contest.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this contest, an individual must:

(a)    Be a legal resident of Canada; and

(b)   Be the age of majority in his/her province or territory of residence or older at time of entry

(c)    Be a resident in the Waterloo Region & surrounding area.

Contest Period

The contest begins at 12:00am Eastern Standard Time (EST) on November 11, 2011 and ends on November 30th at 11:59pm EST ( the “Contest Period”) after which time the Contest will be closed and no further entries shall be accepted.

How to Enter

(a)    There is no purchase necessary to enter the contest

(b)   Limit one (1) entry per household, entries must be submitted no later than the end of the Contest Period.

(c)    Individuals may submit a photo to one of two locations:

i)                    Facebook: Individuals may upload their photo to the Gibson Sound & Vision Facebook page for an entry

ii)                   Email: Individuals may opt to email the photo to annie@shopgibson.com for their entry. Their photo will be uploaded to the Gibson Sound & Vision Facebook page.

(d)   If the contestant would not like to upload a photo, the contestant can make a donation in any amount to the Movember fund. Only donations made to http://mosista.co/AnnieTran will be entered.

Winner Selection

One (1) Winner shall be selected as follows:

(a)    Gibson Sound & Vision collect all names of the contest entrants and  place them all into the draw

(b)   One winner will be selected by random draw on December 1st 2011 at the Movember  Gala

Prize

(a)    Grand Prize is one Sharp Home Theatre System (model BDMPC41U). Approximate retail value of the grand prize is seven hundred dollars (CDN $700) before taxes and any government fees.

(b)   Winners are not entitled to monetary difference between actual Prize value and stated approximate Prize value, if any

(c)    Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, or substituted, or redeemed for cash except at the sole discretion of Gibson Sound & Vision. Any unused portion of a prize will be forfeited and have no cash value. The sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or lesser value if a prize (or any portion thereof) cannot be awarded for any reason.

Restrictions

Photos must be appropriate for posting on the Gibson Sound & Vision Facebook Page and should be commonly acceptable in a family environment. Obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable content will not be considered. Gibson Sound & Vision retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content.

Law

Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. By entering this Contest, each entrant consents to the collection, use and distribution of his or her personal information (information that identifies an entrant as an individual, such as home telephone number, age and home address) by the Contest Sponsors for the purposes of implementing, administering and fulfilling this Contest. Contest Sponsors will not sell or transmit this information to third parties except for the purposes of administering this Contest. Any inquiry concerning the personal information held by the Contest Sponsors should be addressed to Gibson Sound & Vision at 25 Columbia St E, Waterloo, Ontario. N2J 3J6.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property, including but not limited to trade-marks, trade-names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source codes, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations are owned by the Contest Sponsors and or their affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.

Language Discrepancy

In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Contest Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest related materials, including but not limited to the Contest entry form, or point of sale, television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of the Contest Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
